I was walking through the woods all alone. Leaves glided their way gracefully to rest on the dirt-track, every step I took, were cushioned. Just several feet away from where I stood, the gate leading to an old mansion became visible. Eeriness always works their magic. I was drawn to enter. The door opened as my hand froze upon reaching the knob, revealing a dimly lit chandelier. There was no need to say the grandness of the hall even though age obviously took over. The wood creaked as I travelled deeper into the hall. Glancing every inch of the history that covers all over the room; from huge portraits to statues, who knows what happened?
Something was puzzling me. How did I end up here? Parts of my memory were simply lost.
Am I searching for something?
What was I doing?
Am I searching for someone?
I need to find out.
The next thing I knew, I was in the library. There were books everywhere. I felt a weird familiarity to the surroundings. I sat on the desk and saw one particular pile of books on War and Family history. I picked one up and read. There were indications of research from the previous owner of the mansion. There were scribbles, folded pages, paper slotted into the pages and torn pages too.
What could this person be looking for?
I wish I knew.
Sometimes my dreams just end like that. Giving me terrible headaches in the morning, trying to recall.
I made a wish.
(again)
I made 2 little wish today. It came true. I wished for it to drizzle on my way home with Davis. I forgotten how it felt to walk with the rain drizzling on me. My mind drifted back to one particular moment.
Something that I will never forget.
